meeting with Mark and Rob

This is only a test post, as we are currently discussing the Creative and Media Diploma Unit 6 (Digital Technologies) and looking at methods for documenting the students work. This process sure does have its advantages, especially in terms of a safe storage location. Having delivered several sessions and workshops on the unit last year, I'm looking forward to working with the new Year 11s this September.

Wiltshire Wedding Video

As well as my award winning short films, music videos with the likes of Ian Brown and Just Jack, and internationally screened football documentaries, I have recently turned my hand to the production of beautiful wedding videos.

It is such a lovely subject to capture on film and my experience and technical expertise mean that I can shoot, edit and produce the perfect film to treasure your special day. I work in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset, and anywhere else close to those borders! And as I have all equipment and professional experience I am able to produce these wedding videos on DVD for a very competitive price. Prices start from under £500, more details can be found on my website: http://www.wiltshireweddingvideo.info

The prices on the site are only a guideline. Simply email or call me for more information and to get an exact quote for your film, as I will tailor it to exactly what you want.

There are now a couple of video samples added to my redesigned website, including a wedding highlights video, and a video guest book. Both films appeared on the happy couple's DVD, together with a full length version of the wedding ceremony and a simple but beautifully designed menu to help navigate the disc.

Watch the films now at: http://www.wiltshireweddingvideo.info
And have your wedding film produced by Jamie!

The kids are highly animated!

This week on the Ivisualise Player is a 90 second compilation of pixelations produced with students from a variety of Wiltshire Schools, all studying the Creative and Media Diploma. The "First Animations" were produced as part of an introduction to the creative and media world and in particular to my work as an independent producer and film maker.

The session was both creative and hands on, with all 60 new diploma students involved in the production of the animation - both in front of the camera, and also behind it controlling the animation software and setting up the camera etc.

It is always fun for me to work with young people, passing on my skills, techniques and mentoring or teaching them in producing their own work. Whilst in Magdeburg, Germany, I led 2 film courses for Year 12 students at the Hegel Gymnasium and the IGS Regina Hildebrandt, each 5 month project culminating in a cinema screening of the student produced films. To see the wonderful films and the reactions from all the students involved made it a thoroughly amazing experience, especially as they presented their films on the big screen in front of their family, friends and general public. Films produced during these projects will be added to the Ivisualise Player at a later date.

So for now, enjoy the pixelations and keep checking back as more films are added to the site! If you are viewing this blog on a standalone page, please visit: www.ivisualise.de
