Shiny New Trophy!

An enjoyable day at the Shortwave Cinema in London yesterday was topped off by 3 Lions picking up the award for Best Documentary at the Kicks n Flicks Film Festival.
The 2006 England fan documentary was really well received by the audience in the South London cinema and was given the top award by a panel from the Football Supporters Federation and the Film Council. And it looks like World Cup Fever is certainly here, ready for the new tournament to kick off in South Africa next month.
If you haven't seen the film yet or want to get your hands on a copy, or would simply like to support the project, then 3 Lions is available to buy on DVD for only £5, including postage. You can buy it using paypal by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Ivisualise Player homepage: http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm
Or you can email Jamie McDine for other payment options: jamie@ivisualise.co.uk
A big thank you to the festival organisers and roll on 11mm auf Tour in Nürnberg next month, where 3 Lions will make another festival appearance.

http://kicksnflicks.co.uk/
And would you believe that within the same 24 hours, the film has also been confirmed for 11mm auf Tour in Nürnberg in June. More information here: http://www.11-mm.de
And those of you desperate to see Blauweiss on the big screen again, well there is good news... the film will be shown on the giant screen in the Magdeburger Stadion at a World Cup football event this summer, so keep checking the FCM site and news for more details: http://www.fc-magdeburg.de
It looks like World Cup Fever has started already, and the season isn't even over yet!
So please support the films, festivals and clubs wherever and whenever you can. And don't forget you can watch other films of mine for free on my Ivisualise Player website (there are lots in the archive and more being added all the time) at: http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm
And of course you can buy 3 Lions for £5 on DVD using paypal via the link on the Ivisualise Player homepage, or both films for 12,50 Euro by sending an email to jamie@ivisualise.co.uk for more information.

Triple award winner Sehnsucht now online!
Triple award winning experimental short film 'Sehnsucht' was made in 2004 in the city of Magdeburg and was Jamie McDine's first film produced in German. Fear not though, it does come with full English subtitles!
The film's fans include musician Ian Brown, who supplied the soundtrack for the film. He also particularly liked the way a few of his lyrics had been sneaked into the script of the film, which talks about destiny and circumstance, actions and consequences. The film was produced during a heavily Ian Brown inspired time, as Jamie was producing his official website and video interviews for the release of the outstanding 'Solarized' album. If you don't own it, buy it here!
'Sehnsucht', translates to 'Yearning', and picked up awards at film festivals in Germany and Siberia in 2004 and 2005. First was the Jugendvideopreis Sachsen-Anhalt Publikumspreis, followed by the Nachtcafé Short Film prize and finally it made the trip to the Murmansk Film Festival in Siberia.
Sehnsucht concentrates upon our main female character, played by Claudia Janke, as we watch her interaction with the others around her and hear her thoughts. The audio narrative of the film runs forwards, but the visual narrative runs backwards giving the viewer a whole new perspective upon their actions and the consequences they have. Confused? Check it out and all will become clear!
The film also stars Jerome Mullan and Thorsten Schultz, together with the voice of Katharina Peter, all from the English Theatre Company in Magdeburg, with the kind support and assistance of Kate Sturrock.
