As well as my award winning short films, music videos with the likes of Ian Brown and Just Jack, and internationally screened football documentaries, I have recently turned my hand to the production of beautiful wedding videos.
It is such a lovely subject to capture on film and my experience and technical expertise mean that I can shoot, edit and produce the perfect film to treasure your special day. I work in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset, and anywhere else close to those borders! And as I have all equipment and professional experience I am able to produce these wedding videos on DVD for a very competitive price. Prices start from under £500, more details can be found on my website: http://www.wiltshireweddingvideo.info
The prices on the site are only a guideline. Simply email or call me for more information and to get an exact quote for your film, as I will tailor it to exactly what you want.
There are now a couple of video samples added to my redesigned website, including a wedding highlights video, and a video guest book. Both films appeared on the happy couple's DVD, together with a full length version of the wedding ceremony and a simple but beautifully designed menu to help navigate the disc.
Watch the films now at: http://www.wiltshireweddingvideo.info
And have your wedding film produced by Jamie!

FC Magdeburg... BLAUWEISS!
As we approach the end of the football season and things get interesting in the Premier League, the Regionalliga in Germany is looking like a season to forget for FC Magdeburg, with no chance of promotion. However, a couple of seasons ago things were far more interesting as the club went on a roller coaster of a season and were on the brink of promotion to the Bundesliga 2nd Division.... and I got to experience it too as I was documenting their season with the film "Blauweiss".
This week on the Ivisualise player homepage there is an exclusive extra from the limited edition DVD release of Blue and White: The Extras. This 5 minute film looks at the premiere of the stunning FC Magdeburg football documentary "Blauweiss" at the Theater Magdeburg, to a packed audience in 2007.
The tickets to the premiere and 3 subsequent nights were sold out before the event was advertised and a further 4 screenings were organised at the Moritzhof in Magdeburg, a FCM fan day... and the film was screened at the 11mm International Film Festival.

Football's coming home!
This week on the Ivisualise Player I'm returning to one of my favourite films and hobbies... yes football!
On the homepage is a 5 minute England fan documentary at the World Cup 2002 in Japan. This footage was all shot by Steve Thornton at the World Cup in Japan and edited by Jamie McDine, released as a bonus extra feature on the critically acclaimed "3 Lions, 23 Players & 100,000 Friendly Fans" World Cup 2006 DVD.
3 Lions is perhaps the work I am most proud of, due to it's success, film duration, the amount of time it took to produce, the way it looks and the fact I did pretty much everything! From cameraman, to editing, directing, script writing, the lot!
The film was completely funded out of my own pocket, so please support the film by buying a copy of 3 Lions on DVD for just £5 including postage inside Europe (or £7 inc postage outside Europe). Click the link at the bottom of the Ivisualise Player home page to pay by paypal http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm. Football fever guaranteed!
"3 Lions, 23 Players & 100,000 Friendly Fans" has been screened at the 11mm International Film Festival, British Council's 'Dreams and Teams', Nachtcafé Britspotting and at special events across Germany. Buy it now and get ready for the excitement of World Cup 2010 in South Africa this Summer!
As for this 'extra' on the DVD. It is an interesting insight into a group of England Fans as they travel around Japan, meeting plenty of friendly locals, as well as a few famous faces, including Terry Butcher. Personally I love the line "Who ate all the Sushi"!!
*****
On a different note, Jackie just shot a beautiful wedding for Jonathan and Tracey on Saturday and a selection of the pictures are now available to view on her website. Please take a look (and pass the link on to anyone who may be getting married in Wiltshire, Bath or Somerset and needs a photographer!) : http://www.ivisualise.co.uk/photography/gallery.html

Year 7 Self Portrait Animation
Another week and another film has been added to the Ivisualise Player. This time it's a film produced in 2010, so it's brand new, and by one of my groups I am teaching as part of my 'artist in residence' role at Matravers School in Westbury.
A Year 7 self portrait animation project I led together with the class art teacher David Oakley. This film was produced in a 2 hour session with the group of 25 students, who all worked in small groups of 2 or 3 to animate their own self portraits, using pen on acetate and handheld digital cameras to capture that flowing movement.
http://www.ivisualise.de/portrait.htm
The kids are a joy to work with and they really got to grips with the concept of animation and working in their teams very quickly. We are now working together to produce an animated film version of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" which is very exciting.
The animation is cut to a beautiful track by Athlete "I Love". Visit: www.athlete.mu/home

Exclusive Begbie live and acoustic video
Begbie are the latest feature on the Ivisualise Player. No, not that one from Trainspotting, but the excellent Indie band from Magdeburg in Germany. If you don't already know them, then check them out, before the debut album is released later this year! Head on over to: www.myspace.com/begbieband for a listen
As for the video on the Ivisualise Player, Schöne and Koss perform the title song from the stunning football documentary "Blauweiss". This was recorded in front of the Hundertwasser 'Grüne Zitadelle' in Magdeburg city centre in 2007.
This music video was an exclusive extra on the very limited edition bonus DVD (only a magical 74 were ever made) that came with the film "Blauweiss". A full version of the song was later recorded and released on the Heartdisco label, under the title "Blue and White".
"Blauweiss" is a critically acclaimed epic documentary that follows FC Magdeburg and their quest for promotion to the second division in the German Bundesliga. Full of emotion, passion and action, this 105 minute film leaves supporters teary eyed as they reflect upon the season that they came so very close. For more information, please visit: www.ivisualise.co.uk/blauweiss/
I love it towards the end when it goes a bit quiet and if you listen carefully you can hear the tram in the background, as well as the guy who shouts out "Große Klasse, wirklich"! There were a couple of builders who were working on some houses behind the camera and they stopped briefly whilst we recorded the video and seemed to really enjoy it! (the song that is, although I'm sure they enjoyed the quick break as well!)

the artist, new films and wedding photography!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and enjoyed the snow. It's a New Year and I've begun a new job, as 'artist in residence' at Matravers School. It's very enjoyable working with kids aged 11-18 on a variety of subjects and projects, delivered mainly through film, animation and photography, and working with some particularly motivated and talented staff. If you'd like to read more, there is an article online here:
http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/4853422.Jamie_goes_back_to_school_at_Westbury/
One animated film I made with Year 11 students last year (Too Much Too Young) was shown at a film festival in India last week and will be shown at the Preloader festival in Wiltshire next month. The film is in the archive on the Ivisualise Player if you'd like to watch it. And the featured film on the site this week is an animation with the local community in Westbury at a taster day:
http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm
Whilst I have been adding to my portfolio and range of services (I now produce beautiful wedding videos in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset), Jackie is also working as a portrait and wedding photographer, shooting and editing wedding photos for a very competitive (cheap) rate! Check out some of her work and information here:
http://www.ivisualise.co.uk/photography/
As always, if you know of anyone getting married, who may be interested in our work, or may just enjoy watching the odd film for free, then please pass this email on. I'd also love to see some of your feedback or the odd message on the guest book of the website, or on each individual video via the Vimeo link.
On days when I am not at school, I am currently producing corporate films and commercial work, as well as delivering workshops for various organisations and schools, so if you have a project or an idea, then please do get in touch!
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2010,
Jamie
